NSSLHA: National Student Speech Language Hearing Assosiation

 

The purpose of NSSLHA shall be to aid the students of Texas A&M University Kingsville by providing support to encourage professional interest among college and university students in the study of human commnication sciences and disorders, to provide continuity to the dissemination of professional information, and to provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern.

 

As a recognized local chapter of NSSLHA, the University CSDO Chapter shall serve as an official organ of NSSLHA in matters appropriately handeled at the local level and in matters prescribed in the Bylaws of the National Chapter. Any number of the members of the chapter can become members of the National Chapter. 

 

The mission of NSSLHA is to benefit its members by continually improving its support, promotion, and advocacy of the highest quality preparation of professionals in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech and hearing science.
